City's Soundscape
Also known as Pengchen, Shenzhen is located in the south of Guangdong Province, which is the south of the Tropic of Capricorn, between 113°43′~114°38′E and 22°24′ ~22°52′N. It is on the eastbank of the Pearl River Estuary, connecting Daya Bay and Dapeng Bay. Its west is the Lingdingyang. It is connected to Hong Kong in the south, and Dongguan and Huizhou in its north. In the construction of the Great Bay Area, Shenzhen is an important national logistics hub, international comprehensive transportation hub, and having world-famous science and technological industries. It has an area of 1997.47km2 and a built-up of 927.96 km2 area. It is also one of the four first-tier cities with a long ocean line of more than 17 millions' population. With a hilly and oceanic terrain, Shenzhen sits on a rich natural environment with plenty ecological sounds forming a colorful soundscape. Whether bird chirping, cicadas singing and waves crashing or various urbn living sounds, all are soundnotes of Shenzhen, which are saying the importance of sounds in a city. Soundscape

Soudscape describes people's aural feelings and their experience and understanding of the surroundings through aural feelings.
