Location B/Location B in Qilang Mountain Entry: It is located at the entrance to Dapeng Peninsula National Geological Park.It is mainly birds, insects and flowing water sounds during weekday mornings. Meanwhile, it presents a soundscape of water gurgling and birds twittering admist lush trees. 

Surrounding main wildlifes:Butterflies, birds, cicadas, crickets.

Acoustic characteristics of weekday sounds: LAeq varied regularly between 50dB to 60dB, with more middle to high frequency sounds of high variation and sharp peeks. Overall, the direction of the sound is unclear.

Location C/Location C in Qilang Mountain Entry: It is located in the path of Dapeng Peninsula National Geopark. Most of the time is dominated by birds, cicadas and waves sounds. It presents a natural soundscape of birds twittering and cicadas singing in the winding paths.

Surrounding main wildlife: butterflies, birds, cicadas, crickets, spiders.

Acoustic characteristics of weekday sounds: LAeq fluctuates up and down at 60 dB, with middle to high frequency sounds of high variation and strong vibration particularly at around 5000 Hz. Overall, sound has a clear direction. 

Location D/ Location D in Qilang Mountain Entry: It is located on the stairway in the Dapeng Peninsula National Geological Park. Most birds and insects sounds and the distant murmuring of seawater. The deep forested mountain trails resonate with birds twittering and cicadas singing.

Surrounding main wildlife: cicadas, birds.

Acoustic characteristics of weekday sounds: LAeq ranges between 60dB and 70 dB, with more obvious mid frequency sounds, especially peaking around 1000 Hz. There is pronounced spectral jitter indicating a predominance of mid frequency sounds in this location. Overall, the sound direction is unclear.
