Location A/ Location A in Qilang Mountain Peak: It is located in Qilang Mountain Peak of the wide field of vision. Most of the time is dominated by birds and insects sounds. It presents a natural soundscape with birds twittering and insects singing in the breeze at the mountain peak.

Surrounding main wildlife: birds, crickets. 

Acoustic characteristics of weekday sounds: LAeq fluctuates up and down at 60 dB, with coexistence of low, mid, and high frequency sounds of strong vibration. Sound at around 100Hz and 5000Hz has a certain direction(there is a difference in hearing between the left and right ears).

Location B/Location B in Qilang Mountain Peak: It is located on the viewing platform of the main peak of Qilang Mountain at the south end of Dapeng. Most of the time is dominated by birds and Insects sounds. It presents a natural soundscape of birds chirping and insects chirping along the overgrown rock climbing path.

Surrounding main wildlife: birds, cicadas, crickets.

Acoustic characteristics of weekday sounds: LAeq varies dramatically between 40dB to 50dB. More sounds from 20Hz to 1kHz indicates high, middle and low frequency sounds coexist and high frequency sounds have more fluctuation. Overall, the sound lacks a clear direction.

Location C/ Location C in Qilang Mountain Peak: It is located on the ladder road of Qilang Mountain Peak. Most of the time is dominated by birds and insects sounds. The paths quiet with lush vegetation companying bird twittering and insects singing. 

Surrounding main wildlife: birds, crickets., crickets, hornets.

Acoustic characteristics of weekday sounds: LAeq varies dramatically between 50dB to 60dB, with a coexistence of high,middle and low frequency sounds. The middle frequency sound is more obvious while middle and low frequency sounds have a certain direction (there is a difference in hearing between the left and right ears).

Location D/ Location D in Qilang Mountain Peak: It is located on the climbing road of Qilang Mountain Peak. Most of the time is dominated by birds and insects sounds. It presents a soundscape of bird twittering and cicadas singing near the winding path are lush trees. 

Surrounding main wildlife: birds, crickets, crickets.

Acoustic characteristics of weekday sounds: LAeq varies dramatically between 40dB to 50dB, with a coexistence of high middle and low frequency sounds. The sound of a distinct fluctuation at 5000 Hz and the sound lacks a clear direction.
